Undergrowth

The undergrowth is perfect to hunt, because of the much prey that runs here.

Mistystar lead her patrol through the fern bushes into a small clearing. Normally here was always much prey and good undergrwoth to hide. She turned to Minttail. Try again. she whispered to the warrior.

Minttail nodded. He opened his mouth and smelled a mouse. He fell into his hunting position and crawled to the mouse. Then he jumped and killed the mouse with one bite in the neck. He brang the muse back to the patrol and went over to Velvetfur.

Mistystar smiled. Great catch. she said to her clanmate and opened her mouth. Immediately she scented a rabbit. She crouched down and crawled towards the scent. She could feel the tiny heart of her prey beating. She made a jump and killed the rabbit with one bite.

Velvetfur touched Minttails shoulder. As she said. she reassured him.

Minttail smiled. He said: Thanks! Then he touched Velvetfur´s shoulder with his tail. It´s your turn! he said and purred. He watched Velvetfur closely and enjoyed the moment. He thought: Velvetfur is very pretty! After that he didn´t know, why he thought it and was very puzzled.

Velvetfur nodded. Then she scented the air for any prey. She could hear a squirrel in the undergrowth over to the bramble shrub. She fell down into hunters crouch and creeped towards the prey. She looked back to Minttail, not really visible, but too late. She trod on twig and the squirrel fled onto a nearby tree.

Mistystar sighed. What's wrong with you? then she laughed. As if I don't know. But let's go back to the camp for then. she said. She picked up her shrew and her rabbit and dashed off in the undergrowth.

Minttail followed the patrola little bit. Then he asked: Velvetfur, would you like to go to lay into the sun with me?? A few moments later he become red. He thought: Why I said this??

Velvetfur turned hot. She stopped and turned. She wanted, but no real words came over her lips.  Uh... Ah.... Yes... she managed to say.

Minttail stuttered: W-wwwhere sha-shall we-we-we g-g-go?? he asked. He coul have slapped himself for his stupidity. Why am I so stupid???? he tought and saw to the ground.

Velvetfur couldn't think clearly anymore. So she stuttered just more. Maybe we ... eh... can go to the... eh ...uh... shore? she could have killed herself for speaking so much rubbish.

Ohh nooo! She doesn´t want to lay in the sun with me!! She just said it, because Mistystar was there!! thougt Minttail although it was absolute bullshit. Yyyes, I I think that that w w would b b be grea great! stuttered Minttail back.

Velvetfur gathered all her courage and brushed her fur slightly against Minttail, as she went besice him. Then, we should go. she said silently. Her mind worked horrible, if she did the right thing.

Minttail said yes let´s.. let´s g go He signed velvetfur she should go first and waited that she went after him. Then he collected all his mind and went after Velvetfur to the shore
