At the clearing in the middle of the island, the gathering takes place. At one end is a big tree with four big branches on which the leaders stand to speak to the cats. On the left side on some bigger roots the deputys take place. At the right side of the tree the medicine cats sit with their apprentices on the ground. The other cats sit around the clearing.
